We have endeavored to make the IAG Booking Portals as intuitive as possible, with highlighting and a colour palette that that draws the eye to the areas of interest.
At the top of the page, there is a tab called “Bookings”. Click this and then “Create Booking”.
This will take you to the following page:
Once you have selected the criteria for your booking, click the “Search” button. This will cause the Portal to send an AirShopping request.
In the search screen there is a menu item called "Leisure fares". You can choose what type of fare product will come back in the search results by selecting a specific fare type. If you have any leisure fare products available to you, they will appear in this dropdown.

After you have selected your outbound and inbound flight pairing, it’s time to review the details of the offer.
We display the full flight itinerary information here, including RBD/selling classes.
Any relevant warnings about the offer will be displayed at the top of the page in a yellow box. This may include such things as ticketing time limits, or payment type restrictions.
The fare rules and baggage allowance are shown in dropdown tabs, so please review these to make sure you have selected the correct fare for the customer. Take special note of the baggage allowance for each leg of the journey.
The dropdowns will display information in the format shown below. Click the accordion to view the image.
Here you will get a breakdown of the total cost.
Once you have read through all the fare conditions, baggage allowance, and added any seats, it is time to create the booking. You can choose to create the booking via three methods:
1. Book and Hold. This will create a booking without the need for payment. A ticketing time limit warning will be displayed after the booking is created showing you the time you have to pay for the booking before it expires. This will vary depending on the fare type purchased. Held bookings can be paid for with the options described below.
2. Checkout with Cash. This option is not available to all agencies. If you would like this option to settle via BSP, please contact your account manager or get in touch with our NDC Helpdesk to find out how.
3. Checkout with Credit Card. This option is available to all agencies. Simply add the card information and pay.
It is possible to send a quote email at this point by clicking “Send Quote”. This will send an email to the logged in user with all the relevant information. This can then be adjusted as required by the agent before being sent on to the customer.
After you have selected your option, your choice will be processed and you will be presented with an itinerary screen. The details of the booking will be shown, including any e-tickets or EMDs.
There is a print option if you need a physical copy of the itinerary, and there are also two options at the bottom of the page for emailing the itinerary, with or without the price showing. These emails are sent to the email address of the logged in user, and from there can be edited before sending on to the customer.
